Uh huh, that’s right…

We got to go to THE Facebook for lunch today, thanks to my Thick Dumpling Skin co-creator Lisa Lee, who works there!
As you can imagine, the cafeteria is very reminiscent of college.

Tons of options – from soup and sandwiches…

…a big old salad bar…

…drinks galore!

We decided to partake from the hot and ready-prepared food options

There were even more on the rooftop, where we wound up dining…

…along with an entire BBQ, fresh off the grill!

I got some Pulled Pork, Wild Boar Stew, Chicken, and Vegetable Paella…

…roasted tomato, grilled asparagus, and two salads – one was Romaine with Peaches + Candied Pecans, and the other was Arugula topped with Pancetta Lardons, Watermelon, and Feta

Mark Zuckerberg keeps his crew well-fed!

I had a couple bites from Abe’s vegetarian main dishes – frittata, beans, and pizza

A few dessert options – managed to limit myself to two

1/4 of an It’s It Ice Cream sandwich – think oatmeal cookie meets Klondike Bar

Also a bowl of frozen yogurt…

…topped with figs in syrup!!! It’s like they KNEW I was coming today.

Other very “Lynn” treats were peppered throughout the offices – there were snack stations EVERYWHERE!

I snagged a few to go, plus a Tootsie Pop flavor I’ve never seen before – watermelon

Thank you, Lisa!

Posting this on my Facebook page is gonna be so weird…

Oh my gosh. That. Is. So. Cool. I am so jealous of you!
THAT IS SO AWESOME!!! Is this is Carmel? I need to check it out.

OMG – I want to work there!!!!!!!!
Um…this post was amazing! That is so neat that you were able to go there, and I FINALLY watched The Social Network (I know I’m WAY behind) but it was excellent, and excellent timing for this post!!
How fun!

I need a job at facebook.
Food looks incredible!! Figs…Oh, My Lord!! The watermelon Tootsie Pop is part of the Tropical ones we have now. Not my favorite…but the tangerine…yum…
Uhhh, I need a job at a place like that! Pretty sure I would gain 3920 pounds and wouldn’t get any work done because I’d just be eating non-stop
Looks like so much fun!
Is it weird that the first thing I noticed (well, the second) was the Le Creuset pots and pans things are being served in?
Eating on the roof sounds fab. Lucky you with the good weather!
Haha now you will have to find a friend that works at Google to compare dining options.
Oh man working there must be like heaven. Though I think I would pack on more than a few pounds with all that food around!
Wow! I can’t believe the food! They must have a whole crew of gourmet chefs there – love the Le Crueset cookware!
Jeezzz. I wished I worked at that place! So many healthy food options:) You’d never have to pack your own lunch. Looks like a great day!
It was Nacho Day when I went up there in January. Brilliant.
