Last night, we grabbed our bites and brews…

…sat at this traffic light for about 20 minutes waiting for Critical Mass…
…and arrived just in time to nosh the New Year’s Eve (Eve) away!
I filled 3 little plates with nibbles – everything from mochi to chai gingerbread…
…guac, hummus, salsa…
…veggies, salami, TJ’s appetizers, and popcorn

My friend Kai is cousins with the owner/pastry chef at Proof – where I’ve been wanting to go since it opened last year
I was JUST drooling over her amazing creations on the Cooking Channel’s “Unique Sweets” that afternoon…
…and there I was eating them a few hours later – a New Year’s wish come true!

I love Proof for their Coffee and Teas. I haven’t ever made it in early enough to try their pastries – they are almost always gone by noon! Now that I’m an early riser I’m making it a point to visit.
