I have so many fond memories of filming food scenes from that shoot…
…decided to pay homage by eating fondue for the first time since then!!!
This time, for one:
Started with a small, icy hunk of Camembert – there are many opinions about putting cheese like this in the freezer, but the general consensus was that it’s fine – as long as you ate it cooked, and not thawed, since the consistency changes.
Ding donged with a splash of Almond milk for 30 seconds. Definitely not pretty, but the taste doesn’t seem to be affected.
With toasted Great Harvest Dakota…
…and a pear…
…only one of those slices got a dip – there wasn’t enough cheese to go around!
I love a good fondue. especially alone. i always feel like i am competing for cheese time and good dipping position when I fondue with others. SOlo fonduing is the way to go!
That was a great trailer. I really want to see it now!
